Tanzanians has celebrated 52 year of the Unite Republic of Tanzania

Tanganyika was a continuation of the German colonists, the British occupation authorities to the UN, a UN protectorate under British rule and the last independent nation from 1961 in the countries of the Commonwealth.
Republic of Tanganyika and Zanzibar People's Republic of the Union entered into a contract in 1964 with the introduction of the Empire of the United Republic of Tanzania. This Coalition Agreement was signed by the former President of Tanganyika, the late Mwalimu Julius Nyerere and former President of Zanzibar, Amani Abeid Karume late Sheikh on April 22, 1964, in Zanzibar. The agreement was approved by the Parliament of Tanganyika and the Revolutionary Council at the April 26, 1964 and on April 27, 1964, the leaders of both countries met at the Karimjee Hall in Dar es
Salaam and exchange documents of the Union. Law Union issued a declaration of the United Republic in Article 4 that:
"The Republic of Tanganyika and the People's Republic of Zanzibar would be impeded, after reunification and always after mergers, merger be Empire of the Republic in the name of the United Republic of Tanganyika and Zanzibar '(Article 4 of the Union Law)"
The name "United Republic of Tanganyika and Zanzibar" was changed later on October 28, 1964 and the United Republic of Tanzania through the Union Act, Act No. 61 of 1964.
