Burundi rebels Kagame on defense to help the nation rather than exacerbate them.

President of Rwanda Paul Kagame has denied the allegation made by the United Nations that his country continues to help the rebels in neighboring Burundi.

Mr Kagame has said that the problem of Burundi come from within the country and not exported.

Burundi has been gripped by the worst political crisis since President Pierre Nkurunziza determined to fight for another term last year.

It is a full year since President Nkurunziza kuepekua coup attempt.

Rwanda denied similar claims about supporting rebels in the preliminary report of the United Nations in February.

Mr Kagame has criticized the publishers of the report which is expected to be submitted in the Security Council of the United Nations later, saying his time would serve well to highlight the problems facing nations rather than exacerbate them.
